Question about an Axe - Guild Wars Forums

Sup all
Im playing as a warrior so i always thinks which weapon i should choose, an Axe or A Sword, i tryed the hammer but its slow and i cant put a shield for defence so its not for me, i thought about the axe cause i like his max dmg (28) but the sword got a bigger min dmg then the axe, my question is, what is the % to make a critical hit with a weapon? it depends on how much points i have on axe mystary or swordmanship?

A critical hit figure thrown around is 20% at weapon skill 12. PvE, sword is nice for defense. PvP, axe is nice for damage and conditions.

There have been numerous discussions on the forums here about axes vs. swords. Just do a search if you want to get both sides of the arugment.
